Trailer repairs delay occupancy; board schedules mold test, plumbing and floor work

Board member Emily Wood led a walkthrough update, reporting that the trailer will require a mold test followed by plumbing repairs, floor replacement and exterior work before staff can move in. The board approved a temporary $1,000 monthly allowance for the coordinator until the trailer is occupied.
Kelley Knight, the event coordinator, will continue to provide training in the existing arrangement while the board addresses the trailer work. No firm completion date was set; members described the estimate as at least two months and noted the sequence of tests and repairs as prerequisites.
The board did not record formal contracts or vendors in the minutes for the remediation work at this meeting; next steps will include scheduling tests and repairs and coordinating occupancy timing with payroll adjustments.
