Residents and community groups urge 'yes' on Henderson parks ballot question

"Let's keep it going for 30 more years," he said, urging voters to maintain the investment. Supporters included community education advisory board members and former city employees who said the measure would sustain trails, parks and maintenance.
No council action was required on the ballot question; the meeting record shows extensive public support that council members noted during closing remarks.
