The Wylie Planning and Zoning Commission voted 4‑0 on May 19 to approve a site‑plan amendment for the Wylie ISD Transportation Center at 670 Country Club Road.
Mr. Molina told commissioners the amendment proposes an east‑side addition and a new west‑side building, relocates the fueling and wash stations, and adds bus parking and additional standard parking. He said the plan extends a looped fire lane that will need to be located on a dedicated platted easement and recorded as part of an amended plat before construction.
Mr. Molina said the new buildings would be designed to match existing exterior materials and that landscaping shown on the plan will remain, with no landscaping impacts along Country Club Road. The commission approved the amendment on a unanimous voice vote with no additional conditions.
Staff will record any required plat changes and finalize plan reviews with the applicant before issuing permits.
