The Village of Roscoe board voted to pay invoices and payroll totaling $292,930.10 and approved several routine agenda items at its meeting.
Chair led the financial report and said, “You have invoices totaling a $145,975.90. You have payroll expenses of $146,954.20,” and asked for a motion to pay bills totaling $292,930.10. Trustee moved and the motion was seconded; the clerk conducted a roll call and members responded in the affirmative, carrying the motion.
In consent business, the board unanimously approved Resolution 2026 R24, a memorandum of understanding with the Village of Rockton that formalizes police mutual‑aid procedures — the chair said the agreement governs responses when one village’s bridge is closed and the other’s remains open. The clerk carried out the roll call on the resolution and it passed.
The board also voted to suspend the rules to finalize two late-arriving permit items and then approved a special-event permit for the 2026 Historic Auto Attractions cruise nights, to be held the second Wednesday of May through September from 5 to 8 p.m. The board approved a second special-event permit for the Stateline Disc Golf Association’s open tournament scheduled Sept. 27 at Porter Park (8 a.m.–6 p.m.), noted as the event’s third year.
There were no public comments and no executive session. The board adjourned at 6:49 p.m.
