Beardstown council approves $34,948 skid steer, $5,222 washer and $3,000 for Elks fireworks

The council then approved a $3,000 contribution to the Elks Fireworks Fund on a motion by Alderperson Ron Culves, seconded by Alderperson Eric Harbin; that motion also passed by roll call vote 6–0. Shortly after, the council approved the purchase of a Groves washer from Dinges Fire for $5,222.00 for the Fire Department on a motion by Alderperson Keith Schramm, seconded by Alderperson Mary Davis; that motion likewise passed 6–0.
