District plans $40,000 Solution Tree contract for teacher professional learning, to be funded largely from Title I

A presenter said the work aligns with curriculum goals and is intended to improve teacher collaboration, assessment design and differentiated instruction. "The contract is for $40,000," the presenter said, adding that "we are mostly able to budget that out of FY27 Title I grant funds" and that additional student‑learning budget earmarks exist if Title I priorities change.
Board members asked about how Solution Tree was chosen and whether sessions would be virtual or in person. The presenter said she has worked with Solution Tree in three districts and that the planned sessions — including leadership training and teacher leader workshops scheduled for June — will be in person. The district and the board discussed license counts for student digital editions (presenter said licenses are per student and one teacher edition) and affirmed they do not anticipate exceeding the 24‑student license configuration.
The committee agreed to move the item forward for board consideration.
