Brimfield trustees require 30-day action plans to fix two road safety hazards

The board first amended the agenda to add Countryside Drive ditch replacement as Road Department New Business, then passed a motion directing Road Superintendent Dave to coordinate with the county engineer and return to the board within 30 days with a repair proposal. The motion passed by roll call.
Separately, trustees asked the road superintendent to work with the county engineer on the Malloy Road culvert and to submit an action plan within the same 30-day window, after county staff inspected the site and recommended a township response.
Trustees said the plans should identify scope, timing and estimated costs so the board can prioritize work and communicate outcomes to residents.
