Town staff told the Bluff Town Council on May 7 that roughly $80,000 remains from a GOEO grant and must be spent by the end of June 2026.
Malia Collins outlined potential uses for the remaining grant funds, including floor leveling, furring out walls and purchasing plumbing fixtures for the Bluff Rural Innovation Civic Center (BRICC). Collins said she will investigate costs, rework the BRICC budget, and present recommendations at the council’s May 12 work session.
The council discussed using the grant balance for finishing work but made no formal decisions or votes at the May 7 special meeting. Staff will return with a proposed spending plan and any necessary budget adjustments or procurement steps at the next work session.
