Bethlehem Central board certifies 2026–27 budget, approves personnel actions and introduces two administrators

By resolution, the board recorded that the 2026–27 school district budget passed with 77.84% voter approval, with 1,988 votes in favor and 566 against. The resolution was moved, seconded and carried by voice vote.
The board also approved recommended finance items 1–4 and professional personnel action items 1–25, which the agenda identified as including appointments and routine personnel changes. Support staff action items 1–7 and two other recommended action items were approved without extended discussion.
The board introduced two administrators who had been listed on the personnel agenda: Matt Urban, named as the district's new high school principal, and Kyle Roberts, named as the new K–12 physical education and health supervisor. Each spoke briefly to the board and expressed enthusiasm about joining or returning to the district.
Board members thanked district staff and volunteers for their work on election-day operations and on preparing the budget and personnel materials for board review.
