Council approves consent agenda amendments and three board nominations

Clerk Wade read the four consent items: budget amendments for the Morgantown Municipal Sales and Use Tax Fund (revision 1), Morgantown Capital Escrow Fund (revision 7), General Fund (revision 5), and Met Theater Fund (revision 1). A single motion to approve the consent agenda passed by roll call vote with a 6–0 result.
Council also nominated and approved Ruth Quigley to the Ward and Boundaries Commission, Alex Panger to the Ward and Boundaries Commission and the Tree Board, and Cody Woodring to the Tree Board; each motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.
The approvals were procedural and no substantive debate accompanied these items at the May 19 meeting.
