Commission reappoints airport board member, approves airport change order and subdivision plats

During its April 1 session the Big Horn County Commission addressed airport board membership, airport site work and several land-planning items.
Paul Thur, Airports and Land Planning, reported that Charlie Cooley had not been reappointed following an Airport Board expansion despite indicating he wished to continue; Commissioner Bruce Jolley moved to reappoint Cooley and the motion carried.
Thur requested a change order for gravel to surround the new Cowley pilots lounge building, with the work to be funded through BIL (Bipartisan Infrastructure Law) monies; commissioners approved the change order. Thur also reported that pavement maintenance matching schedules will shift to a three-year match cycle rather than four years going forward.
On land-planning matters Thur presented a re-plat of SS 13-003 adding three lots and Simple Subdivision 25-002, both of which had been reviewed by Planning and Zoning; motions to approve both plats were seconded and carried.
Commissioners recorded approvals and directed staff to proceed with project implementation and record filings as required by county procedures.
