"There really isn't a formal schedule, for whenever those are done," Committee member (S3) said, adding that availability of trainers and possible cooperation between districts could change drill availability and timing.
On emergency closures, the group said a two-hour delay is a useful option because it preserves instructional hours while improving safety. Participants suggested tracking attendance and financial impacts of delay days to inform future decisions.
The group set a follow-up meeting for Thursday to continue unresolved budget and language items and then adjourned the session.
