County staff presented an easement to allow stormwater from Lot 3 of the project site to flow into the county drainage system as part of a planned hotel development.
Senator Bradley Jackson explained the need for the easement and said staff had prepared the document and would obtain signatures. “They need to, clear up the ability to convey their stormwater into the drainage system. I’ve got a document, prepared, and ready to sign,” he said, describing the company’s site‑plan process.
The commission asked a few clarifying questions, moved and seconded the item, and approved it by voice vote. Commissioners characterized the approval as progress toward the hotel project beginning work on site.
