Tree removal: County Coordinator Kelly Thongvivong presented contractor quotes for removing a co‑dominant cottonwood tree on tax‑forfeited property 25.833.0010; the board accepted Carr’s Tree Service’s low bid of $5,000 and instructed removal and hauling of debris.
Lease for A.C.E.: The board approved a lease with BARC to rent office space for the county A.C.E. Director at $200 per month effective April 1, 2024.
Appointments: Chairman Norm Holmen appointed himself, Commissioner Tom Appel and County Coordinator Kelly Thongvivong to the union contract negotiation team. Holmen also appointed himself, Appel, Thongvivong and Human Resources Technician Kathy Marsh to a health insurance committee.
