Jupiter to house new engines and frontline staff; ceremonies set for late May–early June

The Town Manager said upcoming ceremonies include an oath of office for operational firefighters on June 1 and station 'uncoupling and pushing' ribbon events on June 1 and June 3–4.
Deputy Fire Chief Steve Shaw described a ride‑along and training arrangement with Palm Beach Gardens that will let new hires observe field operations as part of their training before the town begins running calls (the town cited an October 1 target to begin calls). Council approved an interlocal expansion to allow that ride‑along program. Fire leaders emphasized logistics, secure storage for medical and compressed‑gas cylinders, and continuing training schedules.
Council members congratulated the new staff and thanked personnel for the work on station construction, training and equipment procurement.
