DeSoto County Board of Adjustment elects 2026 officers

During its Jan. 12 meeting, the DeSoto County Board of Adjustment elected officers for 2026. Mike Hancock nominated Ben Boren for Chair; Mike Duncan nominated Mike Hancock for Co-Chair; and Ben Boren nominated Cham Babb for Secretary. The motions to approve the slate passed unanimously.
The board recorded members present as Mike Duncan, Cham Babb, Mike Hancock and Ben Boren. Board staff in attendance included Bennie Hopkins, Ashley Hendricks, Mauri Staten, and Board Attorney Bob Morris.
Following the votes the board moved and seconded to adjourn; the motion to adjourn passed unanimously.
