The interlocal agreement establishes a NO HAZ advisory board composed of representatives from participating northern Oakland County communities, directs Oakland County to administer collection events, and delegates hazardous-waste handling and disposal to a vendor selected by the county. The agreement includes a per-vehicle disposal fee ($112.25 estimated) and an administrative fee; the meeting packet estimates program costs and participation projections for the region.
The resolution sets the resident participation fee for 2026 at $15 and appoints Stacy St. James, Environmental and Housing Rehab Coordinator, as Waterfords representative to the NO HAZ advisory board. Trustees approved the interlocal agreement and funding allocation by unanimous roll call.
