At its May 13, 2026 meeting, the Sheboygan County Finance Committee approved two vehicle-use policies and accepted a bid for county board proceedings and legal advertising.
County Clerk Jon Dolson presented competing bids from The Plymouth Review and The Sheboygan Press for publication of county board proceedings and legal advertising. Supervisor Thomas Wegner moved to accept the bid from The Plymouth Review; Supervisor Curt Brauer seconded the motion, and the committee carried the motion.
Information Technology Director Chris Liewinski presented the Information Technology Department Vehicle Use Policy. Supervisor Curt Brauer moved to approve the policy; Supervisor William Goehring seconded and the motion carried.
Finance Director James Webb presented the Non-Department Vehicle Use Policy. Supervisor Curt Brauer moved to approve the request; Supervisor Gerald Jorgensen seconded and the motion carried.
The committee recorded no vote tallies or roll-call counts in the minutes. The approvals were taken as motions and seconds with the chair noting the motion carried. The committee did not attach conditions or amendments to the policies in the meeting minutes.
