Following adoption of the FY2027 budget, the Erlanger City Council considered two ordinances on second reading and approved both by unanimous roll call.
Personnel pay classification plan: City staff presented the ordinance establishing a personnel pay classification plan for all Erlanger employees and non‑elected officers. The ordinance contained a non‑substantive edit from first reading that removed a 24/48 reference for medics and paramedics and updated pay‑amount lines. After a roll call (Miss Skidmore, Mister Farmer, Miss Jasper Lucas, Miss Wilson, Miss Nicely, Miss Fields, Mister Hermes), the mayor announced the motion carried and the ordinance was adopted on second reading.
Public safety facility restricted fund: A second‑reading ordinance was presented to establish a restricted funds balance to accumulate and reserve funds for planning, design, construction, renovation and equipping of a Department of Public Safety facility and to specify how that fund integrates with the adopted budget. The ordinance passed on a unanimous roll call (Miss Nicely, Miss Wilson, Miss Jasper Lucas, Mister Farmer, Miss Skidmore, Mister Hermes, Miss Fields). Mayor Jessica Feddy declared the motion carried.
No amendments or recorded dissents were made on either ordinance during the meeting; council members voted yes on both items.
