During the meeting the board approved a motion to proceed with the proposed quote for the exterior remodel of the Iowa HHS building after discussion. Member Chuck Webb moved the measure and Vice Chair Steve Wanders seconded; the vote was recorded as all aye.
The board also approved April 2026 claims, the Veterans Affairs third-quarter report and a payroll change for the Conservation department. Each of those items passed on motions by Vice Chair Steve Wanders seconded by Member Chuck Webb, with the board recording unanimous approval.
Separately, the supervisors voted to update county ordinances and authorized the removal of Ordinance 37. The minutes record the board’s approval but do not specify the subject matter or legal effect of Ordinance 37 beyond its removal.
