Residents voiced safety concerns about railroad tracks close to the property and asked about client vetting and whether clients would process game on site; the applicant said clients sign contracts that prohibit drinking and described guided transport to specific stands rather than free roaming. Staff also noted that lodging requires environmental services consultation for well and septic capacity and that any additional structures would need building permits.
A commissioner moved and a colleague seconded to approve CUP 26‑08 with staff recommendations (consult environmental services about well/septic, require building permits for additional structures, and require amended CUPs for changes in use). The motion passed by voice vote.
