The Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission moved to adopt its FY27 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) and budget at the May 20 meeting.
Charlie introduced an amended version of the UPWP packet and described technical clarifications and a new left‑column numbering approach for proposed task numbers; he said conversations with VTrans and Federal Highway prompted carrying dual task numbering for a transition year. He also reported that staff corrected prior revenue estimates and the revised budget shows approximately $53,000 in the black rather than a previously reported deficit.
Jackie moved a detailed adoption motion that included minor technical corrections, an amendment to add an informational column for proposed task numbers, and an effective date of July 1, 2026. The motion was seconded; the board voted to adopt the FY27 UPWP and budget for RPC action and repeated the same motion for MPO action, both of which passed.
The board asked staff to ensure that minutes and packets correctly reflect the adopted version and to present the formal motion at the upcoming annual meeting.
