City staff member Chris Searcy told council that when the roundabout project was built the city fronted the cost of a gravity sewer line to serve nearby properties. "The estimated cost at the time was about $60,000 through construction," Searcy said, and added that unanticipated soil issues and administrative expenses increased the amount to just under $88,000 to be recaptured from four parcels through a latecomer reimbursement agreement. The resolution authorizes recording the reimbursement document against those parcels.
Council moved, seconded and approved the resolution by voice vote; no councilmember voiced opposition in the record.
