Chairman Ross Selman read each resolution and the board voted unanimously to approve them. Actions included declaring two laundry machines at the animal shelter junk, removing multiple heavy‑equipment items from District 1 and District 3 inventories and approving the sale of certain vehicles and fire apparatus by sealed bid. The board also approved declaring a set of county Dell computers junk and removing them from the assessor’s inventory. A small private donation of $76.89 was accepted for the courthouse seasonal‑decor account to buy a U.S. flag for the first‑floor lobby. The board also rescinded Bid No. 18 for the construction of a Bugtussle Volunteer Fire Department building, citing discrepancies in the specifications, and approved re‑advertising the project with a new schedule.
All resolution motions were seconded and passed with votes recorded as AYE: Ross Selman, Mike Haynes and Charlie Rogers; NAY: none. Where bids or sealed‑bid sales were authorized, the board set filing and opening dates consistent with the Oklahoma Public Competitive Bidding Act.
The commissioners also approved administrative housekeeping items: blanket purchase orders for several departments, mid‑month payroll and routine monthly reports from county officers.
