Berlin Township schools recognize students of the month across grades

At the start of the Berlin Township School District board meeting, Mister Lee presented 'Student of the Month' recognitions for every grade from pre-K through eighth grade. He read short accolades for each student and invited them for a photograph.
Among those recognized were pre-K student Hudson Rowe; kindergarten student Luna Spinelli; first-grade student Regina Andrewzzi; second-grade student Willow Hale; third-grade student Jack Roselli; fourth-grade student Elijah Vargas (from JFK); fifth-grade student Grayson Kircher; sixth-grade student Amaya Crawford; seventh-grade student Janelle Harding; and eighth-grade student Jahad Champion. Mister Lee praised students for qualities such as kindness, perseverance, leadership and academic effort.
"Hudson has made amazing growth since starting preschool," Mister Lee said of the pre-K honoree. On classroom leadership he noted that Luna "is a determined learner who never gives up" and described Jack as someone who "consistently demonstrates what it means to be a great student." The board invited parents and the recognized students to remain for photographs and thanked families for their support.
These recognitions took place during the district's regular board meeting and were followed by routine business.
