Commissioner Jim DeFrancia moved to nominate Steve Warnke as Chair and Brian Kelly as Vice‑Chair and to close nominations; Commissioner Bill Norris seconded and the motion carried unanimously. Commissioner Andrew Benjamin then moved to elect Steve Warnke and Brian Kelly to those positions; Commissioner Bill Norris seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
The minutes note that Commissioner Warnke was absent from the meeting but had agreed to continue in his current position if the commission so chose. Planning Director Kristy Winser said both Warnke and Kelly had indicated they would be willing to continue in their posts. The commission's next scheduled meeting on May 21 will be held on Zoom and will contain only a consent agenda item; staff training with the county attorney was rescheduled for June 18.
