He said SC View will allow secure electronic contract distribution and signature, creating a digitally archived personnel file and streamlining the issuance of salary notices and supplemental contracts.
On the finance side the treasurer described an improving revenue variance after the district received a late real‑estate tax remittance; he cited an increase reported to the district that brought cash receipts to roughly $275,000 in late payments, which significantly narrowed a projected revenue shortfall. He also said the district plans to move certain money‑market funds to a longer‑term investment platform (Red Tree) while retaining a liquid account for payroll needs.
The superintendent emphasized safety preparations for graduation and described a Thursday coordination meeting with first responders; administrators aim to email families and post updates on the district Facebook page by late afternoon if weather forces schedule changes.
The updates were delivered as part of routine business ahead of multiple board votes on contracts and personnel items that the administration said will be finalized and executed following board approval.
