"This would be an expansion on what we're already doing," the staff presenter said, noting the district has been identifying multifaceted network risks and holes that the grant would help address.
Courtney moved to give final approval for the grant in the amount of $40,000 with a district match of $10,000; the board approved the motion 5-0.
Administration said it will implement the grant activities while maintaining discretion about specific vulnerability information to avoid exposing potential security gaps.
