Council voted to authorize the town council president and the town clerk to sign the grant agreement and to proceed with the project under the terms of the grant. The grant agreement was advertised in local media and the council took the vote at the meeting.
What happens next: The town will execute the RIDEM grant agreement, schedule project planning and procurement, and coordinate required contract and construction oversight. The town clerk and project staff will manage reporting and compliance under the grant terms.
