District outlines Measure B master schedule and quick‑start summer projects

Program manager Dustin Connor reviewed the project list and a draft Gantt schedule that prioritizes accessibility and critical infrastructure work: window and switchgear repairs at Forest Grove, site amphitheaters, sewer and HVAC at Robert Down, a synthetic track and HVAC upgrades at the middle school, phased classroom modernizations and water‑line replacement tied to the high school campus, and adult‑school parking lot improvements.
Connor said quick‑start projects approved last year will begin this summer and named local contractors retained for sitework and amphitheater installations. "We plan to post monthly schedule updates and keep the facilities subcommittee and the public informed," he said. Staff noted contingency budgets and said they will return to the board if projects approach budget limits or require scope changes.
Trustees praised the emphasis on ADA improvements and safety vestibules and asked staff to maintain public-facing project tracking. Assistant Superintendent Jorn confirmed bond proceeds and an upcoming cash flow update tied to bond sale timing will support the schedule.
Next steps include final design procurement for 2027 projects, continued community engagement, and monthly public schedule updates on the bond web page. Quick‑start work is expected to begin in early June with activity extending through the summer and into the next school year for some sites.
