Presenters reported persistence rates above 90% for the most recent cohort and early credit‑accumulation advantages at participating campuses.
“Degree completion matters,” an OCHE lead said in presenting wage and completion differentials that motivated the program’s scale‑up, noting the $7 million investment sustaining cohorts and institutional investments. Examples highlighted included MSU Northern’s predictive‑analytics and advising technology work, Great Falls College’s online student training, and pilot projects at other campuses to strengthen advising and faculty‑led advising champions.
Regents asked staff to help define metrics and the ROI frame they will use with the legislature; OCHE said program impact and return‑on‑investment language will be developed as the initiative matures and additional cohort data are collected.
Next steps: campuses will enroll new cohorts in the fall, continue data collection, and report additional outcome milestones to the board in 2027.
