The Armstrong County Board of Commissioners adopted two proclamations recognizing May observances during its May 7 meeting.
Commissioner John W. Strate read Proclamation 2026-13, designating May 2026 as Mental Health Awareness Month. Commissioner Anthony G. Shea read Proclamation 2026-14, designating May as Older Americans Month. Each proclamation was adopted on a motion by Commissioner Shea, seconded by Commissioner Pat Fabian, and the board recorded both actions as carried unanimously.
The proclamations were entered into the meeting record as Proclamation #2026-13 and Proclamation #2026-14.
