Board withdraws several arrest authorizations, approves releases and waives pardon waiting rule

The Alabama Board of Pardons and Paroles voted on June 10, 2025, to withdraw several Parole Officer Authorizations of Arrest and approve the immediate release or reinstatement of mandatory release for the individuals named in the board orders.
Chair Leigh Gwathney opened the meeting and the board approved minutes from May 22, 2025. Acting on requests from the division director and staff, the board voted to withdraw arrest authorizations and order releases for Jashun Lloyd (AIS#293243), James Preston (AIS#255044), Stephen Page (AIS#340080) and Aqueelah Borders (AIS#293815). The meeting record shows the board approved reinstatement of mandatory release where appropriate.
The board also voted to remove a special condition in the case of Daniel Booth (AIS#305474), replacing it with a requirement to complete Shepherd's Fold, as reflected in the board order signed June 10, 2025.
In additional business, the board granted a waiver of the two-year waiting rule under Administrative Rule 640-X-7-.01(7) for Alex Manuel Hernandez-Crespo (AIS#306234), who received a pardon with exceptions on Aug. 31, 2023; the waiver allows him to submit a new pardon application immediately.
The actions were recorded in the meeting's minute entries and formal board orders. The board recessed for lunch and later adjourned at 2:30 p.m.; its next meeting was scheduled for June 11, 2025, at 8:00 a.m.
