City Clerk Elanor Manzano administered the oath of office at the April 2 Redondo Beach Unified School District board meeting to newly elected Han Archer and re‑elected board members Dan Elder and Rachel Silverman Neimoth.
Han Archer, Dan Elder and Rachel Silverman Neimoth each repeated the oath to defend the U.S. and California constitutions and then took their seats on the dais. Family members and supporters came forward for photos and applause after each swearing‑in.
In brief remarks after the ceremony, Archer thanked the community and said she was "so excited to work with my fellow board members, Dr. Wesley and her cabinet," and expressed commitment to serving students, staff and teachers.
The swearing‑in took place before the board addressed the meeting’s action items that followed.
