At the May 13 meeting the Chester City Planning Commission voted unanimously to adopt an updated set of bylaws. Staff explained the redlines reflected comments from the city solicitor and clarified membership and appointment language, including an explicit sentence allowing the appointing body to name alternates.
Commissioners discussed and then approved the redlined version in a roll-call vote. The planning commission recorded its unanimous vote and the chair signed the adopted bylaws for the record.
The change is administrative in nature and will be filed with commission records; the commission may revisit bylaws in the future if membership or procedural needs change.
