The supervisor of elections briefed the board on a proposed managed-services agreement with Liberty Vote USA following a vendor sale.
The supervisor said the county’s voting equipment, purchased in 2016 on an eight-year lease, reached the lease end in December 2024. The vendor was subsequently sold to Liberty Vote USA, and the contract before the board is an extension of the maintenance and service agreement that previously covered the leased equipment. The supervisor said the funds are already budgeted and that the county attorney (Mr. Bishop) had reviewed the new agreement and raised no objections.
The board moved to approve the agreement by motion and voice vote so warranty and maintenance coverage could continue.
No additional funds were requested at the meeting; staff said the renewal is budgeted in the supervisor’s office.
