Trustees asked how the fee is handled and whether the district needs to create a dedicated federal fund; staff and Skybound representatives said the fee, if earned, would be paid from the grant and the district would establish a separate federal grant fund to manage the money and deliverables. The board recorded a roll call approving the item.
Board members asked for clarity on timeline and deliverables and were told team members would act as project managers during the planning year and assist the district with required deliverables should the grant be awarded.
