Students warn that federal cuts to college‑access programs could threaten Go College supports

Dylan and other student speakers urged the district to be prepared to advocate locally and to consider internal options to replace lost services if federal funding is reduced.
Board members encouraged students to contact state and federal representatives and suggested sharing student videos and testimony with lawmakers to demonstrate the program’s value. The board will consider the presentations as it evaluates budget priorities and community partnerships.
