Another board member commented, “748 is a lot of titles,” while others cautioned the board could still see batches of varying sizes in coming months, estimating examples ranging from about 30–40 to roughly 200 titles and noting that some purchases may replace existing copies rather than add new unique titles.
Speakers also addressed logistics for new school openings, noting that books placed in central libraries may need duplicate copies in new facilities. A board member suggested starting the stocking process before a new school opens so materials are available at each location.
