Committee members were told that Press Gazette and Press Times bid for the prize and that Press Times is the recommended vendor this year based on the bid summary and cost analysis. The committee approved the recommendation by voice vote.
Staff noted that Press Times will publish most legal ads and that some time-sensitive clerk's-office notices still appear in the Press Gazette due to publication-frequency requirements for certain filings.
Next step: City staff will execute the annual agreement and direct legal notices and solicitations to the designated paper as appropriate.
