Beaufort County Council announced an informal community meeting, described as a "Chat with Council," intended to give residents a chance to meet council members and ask questions.
The meeting is scheduled for May 21 from 6:00–7:30 p.m. at the Bluffton Branch Library, 120 Palmetto Way in Bluffton. Organizers said registration is not required; a sign-up sheet will be available for those who wish to speak. County staff will not be on site, no minutes will be taken, the meeting will not be televised, and councilors will not conduct official business or hold votes during the event even if a quorum is present.
