Superintendent highlights convocation, restorative-practices training and multiple summer hires

Dr. Shell announced appointment of a new School Resource Officer, Dennis Failen, and listed multiple summer hires and role changes: Quinn Bolak (PAR educator, Chap), Shaina Brown (special education teacher, Booth), Maria Calamido (staff services assistant, central office), Samantha Dunar (building substitute, Chap), Richard Erico (technology education teacher, Chipog), Elizabeth Holton (elementary teacher, Booth), Brooke Mercier (educational assistant, Washington Primary), Brittany Oglesby (PAR educator, Washington Primary), Janice Paris (educator at Booth and Burnham), Michael Pringle (literacy tutor, Washington Primary), Skyler Shab (one-year building substitute, Burnham), Joanna Turner (long-term agri-science teacher, Chap), and Michelle Wennis (elementary teacher, Washington Primary).
The board welcomed the hires and the report closed without further action.
