Board honors long-serving volunteer Esther Williams and recognizes student-athletes

The representative read formal recognition language from the Connecticut General Assembly commending the students and coaches.
During public comment, resident Mike Shane urged fiscal caution and suggested that "if everyone...were to give back 1% of their salary increase this year, I believe we could" reduce budget pressure, describing the comment as his calculation.
