Vandalia approves $17,724.99 grant application to replace Warner Park play structure

Vice Mayor Folk moved to approve Resolution 26‑R33; Council Member Avalotus Weaver seconded. The roll call vote was recorded as seven “yes” votes and the motion passed 7–0.
Staff characterized Warner Park as the city’s first pocket park (established in 1995) and said the improvements are intended to modernize the playground while preserving neighborhood value. The council authorized the grant application and use of available capital funds for the city match and project completion.
