The board also approved revisions to the transportation handbook to remove duplicated language and make driver expectations clearer. The classified handbook was updated to add limited flexibility for 10‑month and other classified employees during extreme weather (delayed schedules, unpaid days or PTO options) while maintaining 12‑month employee expectations. Mr. Wagner said full‑time status was clarified to 30+ hours in proposed policy 4240 (first reading); the board scheduled a vote for the June meeting.
