The Brown County Commission approved routine business items including minutes and payroll and approved sending a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) support letter for the city of Robinson's fire department.
The board voted to accept the minutes for May 11 and May 16, and after staff explained a weighted-overtime correction, commissioners approved the May 13 payroll. A motion to approve a Robinson CDBG support letter from the county commissioners was moved, seconded and carried.
Commissioners also discussed attendance at an upcoming county tax sale and agreed staff should notice a short special meeting if multiple commissioners plan to attend so no other business would be conducted. Later in the meeting a commissioner moved into a 10-minute executive session for attorney-client privilege with the county counselor; the board returned to open session with no binding action taken.
The commission set meeting scheduling adjustments (no work session this week, add a 45-minute work session to the Friday meeting) and adjourned.
