Travis said the county recorded 1,147 loads and about 177.70 tons of material brought to the landfill, generating $77,778.19 in tipping fees.
Commissioners thanked staff for handling the large volume in two days and discussed lessons learned, including long lines and possible future changes such as extending the event to more days. One commissioner noted prior voucher-based approaches produced limited participation and praised the broader reach achieved this year.
Staff said they would present a more detailed write-up at the next meeting with clearer tonnage accounting and breakdowns of costs and participation.
