During the meeting the Town Administrator delivered routine administrative updates and flagged several items headed to town council.
The administrator said a proposed amendment to Chapter 62 concerning development impact fees for schools and a comprehensive zoning map update are scheduled for public hearing before the Town Council on June 8. Staff also said a county splash‑pad grant and a recently awarded solar grant for the wastewater treatment plant will require budget amendment work at the council level.
Staff reported progress on capital projects including the town well and wastewater‑treatment plant and noted planned work on the town hall flat roof and potential winery storage building. The administrator described the solar grant as intended to allow installation of solar panels at the wastewater plant to reduce long‑term electrical costs and said staff will present required budget amendments in upcoming council business.
Staff invited questions; none were raised during the presentation. The items cited by the administrator will proceed through council public hearings and any required budget amendment processes.
