Doll told the commissioners he viewed the recognition as belonging also to the teams and partners behind the projects and highlighted neighborhood revitalization efforts such as Fairmont and Meriwether Homes. "I can't do this without the people behind me," he said, noting partnerships with city and county leaders and community organizations.
