"The program is student‑centered, problem‑based and blended with both print and digital tools," Labokco said.
Why it matters: the adoption creates a consistent secondary math pathway (geometry and Algebra II) tied to the district's recent purchases (Eureka Squared in elementary and Desmos for earlier grades). Trustees voted unanimously to approve the materials and the PD plan; staff will schedule professional development before the 2026–27 school year and report back on implementation.
Implementation and next steps: District staff said they will order materials and finalize PD dates for summer and early fall 2026, and coordinate with teachers for classroom rollout. Trustees asked for clear implementation milestones and monitoring of student progress as the program is put in place.
